Rainbows is a pre-Brownie organisation, open to girls of five and over. The meetings are full of games and activities which provide challenging opportunities for Rainbows to think for themselves and take an active part in unit decision making.
Everything a Rainbow does helps her to develop – it is an opportunity to look, learn, laugh and love.
Sherwood Greenlaw Rainbows meet on a Thursday evening in the church hall.
Further information can be obtained from Mrs Marjory Crae, via the Church office.
The Rainbow Promise
Rainbows make this simple promise that they share with members around the world:
I promise that I will do my best to love my God and to be kind and helpful.
The new session of Rainbows starts on Thursday 5th September 2019 at 6.30pm in the Lower Hall. We look forward to welcoming back existing members of the unit and some new recruits. At the time of writing the unit is currently full. However anyone wishing their daughter to join us is requested to log on to the parents' section of the Girlguiding website where they can register their interest in our unit (3rd East Rainbows Paisley). To become a Rainbow girls must be between the ages of 5 and 7. However girls under 5 can still be registered and added to our waiting list.
We are always looking for different activities for the girls so if anyone has a talent, hobby or occupation which they would like to share with the girls please speak to one of the leaders so that we can arrange a night for you to come along and see the girls.
