Sundays 11am September to June.
Quest is for young people from Secondary 1 upwards and they meet at the Church.
Christian education of older children and teenagers within the church family + parish + occasional visitors.
The young people follow a varied programme of study and activities that highlights the relevance of the Gospel to the challenges of living in the modern world. They are encouraged to participate at regular intervals in public worship.
They have an annual residential activity week-end at Teen Ranch which combines social and sporting activities with Christian education and devotions.
Their costs are met partly by fund raising activities organised by the young people themselves and partly by church funds.
We are also continually seeking ways to encourage the young people to participate fully in the work and witness of the Sherwood Greenlaw church family.
Young people are promoting the Fair Trade philosophy by arranging to operate a Fair Trade stall after worship at Sunday Break.

The Quest members plan to visit the new Waterstone’s store in Silverburn to support the work of their Quest Leader, Caron, who has been working with her staff on this new venture.
They also plan a visit to Glasgow City Mission. At Harvest, Quest discussed the importance of having a choice of what they eat. Yet many people do not have this choice…indeed they often have very little to eat. Glasgow City Mission feeds people who are homeless and they focus on the importance of choice. Once Quest have visited they will report to the members of the congregation of this experience.
