Being a Guide is all about learning new skills, making your own decisions and having fun. Guiding provides a safe environment to explore new possibilities and achieve personal goals while making friends and having adventures. And it’s up to each Guide to work out which opportunities are relevant for her, whether it’s improving her football skills, party planning or learning about independent living.

To kick off
the October school
holidays, 18 of
our Guides visited M and D’s
theme park and
had a brilliant
time going on
all of the
rides (with a
particular favourite being the
log flume even though it was a cold day!).
We have a busy few weeks coming up with our Halloween party, CPR night and bonfire baking all planned for the coming weeks.
We are pleased that some of our older Guides have now moved on to attend 'senior section' which is the next step on from Guides which is for ages 14+. It is great to see the girls continuing with Guiding.
Date for your diary: Our coffee morning will take place on Saturday 1st December from 10am till 12noon. Tickets are £3 and can be bought on the day or after church on the 25th November. We hope to see lots of you there.
Alison Burns (and the 14th Paisley Guides leaders).
